Last night was a proud and emotional moment as Jack Dodorico stepped into the spotlight, officially receiving his number 8 jumper for the Calder Cannons. The special ceremony, attended by family, teammates, and supporters, was made even more memorable as Jack stood beside his father, Chris, sharing a heartfelt father-son moment that will be cherished for years to come.
Jack’s journey to this point has been one of dedication, hard work, and passion for the game, and now he’s ready to take on this exciting new chapter at the Cannons. But he won’t be doing it alone. Joining him are three familiar faces—Zac Newman, Taj Robinson, and Adam Sweid—former Hadfield juniors who will also be wearing the Cannons colors this season. Together, these four talented players are set to make their mark, continuing to grow and push each other to new heights.
While we won’t see them donning the traditional brown and gold of Hadfield anymore, their roots here run deep. Our club takes immense pride in having played a role in their development, shaping not only their football skills but also their character and love for the game. Watching them progress to this next level is a testament to their talent and the strong foundation built at our club.
As they embark on this new journey, we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way. No matter where their football careers take them, they will always be part of the Hadfield family. Congratulations, Jack, Zac, Taj, and Adam—your club is behind you, and we can’t wait to see you shine!
